Unlike all the other vehicles from Porsche, the Macan has enjoyed the biggest launch in the company’s history. The SUV is so popular that it requires a 6 month waiting period before consumers can get their Macan.
Then again, is the SUV better than the Range Rover Evoque and the BMW 335d?
For starters, the Macan is built to run on the toughest road terrains. It has the technology that will make turn roughest environment into a smooth ride. There is the hill descent control plus an air suspension that raises the height of the vehicle.
However, this isn’t as enhanced as the system on the Evoque which comes with the Terrain Response system. With it, the Evoque allows drivers to tune their car based on the road surface. The system is able to handle slopes of up to 25 degrees.
In terms of efficiency, the BMW 335d is the best of them. It achieves 148g/km while the Porsche and Range Rover both emit 159g/km.
Despite that fact, it is the Macan that offers the best handling. Porsche certainly delivered its promise to create an SUV that runs just like the 911 Turbo. This is something that keeps the Macan ahead of its competitors. By far, the Macan is still the better compact crossover in the market today.
