2014 MacBook Air To Allegedly Ditch Noisy Fan For Good

Apple launches new products every year that are refreshed version of products they already have out in the market. The market is used to upgrades but at times it seems that Apple has to try something new. We are now hearing that they want to transform the existing line-up of the MacBook Air. Usually Apple launch variations in 11 and 13 inches, but we have heard that they will offer a 12 inch version and they want to redesign the laptop.

Analysts were talking about Apple trying their hand at a different size for the Macbook Air and it seems that they could have been correct. It has also been said that Apple could include the retina display along with a new version of the trackpad.

We have also heard reports that the new version of the MacBook will be fan-less.

The retina display was first seen on the Apple iPhone 4 in 2010. This was the last time that Steve Jobs worked on the Apple iPhone. The late founder said that the retina display offered a display that was extremely sharp with a pixel density of as much as 326ppi. This went beyond what the human eye was capable of distinguishing. Since this time it has featured on every iPhone.

The iPad displays started to use the retina display in March 2012 and then in 2013 the iPad Mini was introduced and this followed with the MacBook Pro getting the retina display. There has been a great deal of talk about the Air and the retina display but we didn’t see it, but we may this year.

A source is said to have leaked information to a Chinese forum about an upcoming MacBook Air and said that it will have a 12 inch retina display. The case will have been redesigned and it will of course be very thin. It will not have a fan and will feature a trackpad that will be minus the mechanical button.

So the report suggests that Apple has ventured into fan less computers without a risk of them overheating. They have a range of iOS catalogue devices that are without fans. This has backed up the idea that Apple is able to make a fan less MacBook Air. Apple are keeping quiet about their upcoming line-up of laptops at the moment.
