By far, the Passat offers the best efficiency for a saloon. The car also recorded 43mpg and can travel a distance of 600miles with a single tank.
5. Chevrolet Cruze 2.0L Diesel 6AT
It seems that efficiency belongs to America with the Chevy Cruze. It beats the Passat by recording 46mpg, while being able to travel a mega distance of 700miles on a single tank.
