17-inch MacBook Pro: Poor Sales Record Forced Apple To Pull The Plug

In the world of technology, size does matter. Everyone would love to play around a laptop, smartphone, tablet or television that has a big screen due to the satisfaction that comes with it. Which is why many are upset when out of a sudden, Apple discontinued the 17” Macbook Pro.

Just recently, Apple updated the MacBook Pro with a newer model but unfortunately, the largest variant failed to get produced. Some insiders revealed that the company’s decision was final after the existing model failed to achieve good sales record.

As such, the cost to develop a 17” MacBook Pro does not appear to be worth it. Furthermore, a larger laptop requires a lot of R&D, electronics design and component design.

Of course, a large screen on the MacBook Pro will offer the best satisfaction when it comes to doing some editing works or even playing games. Then again, the device is simply too costly to own which is why Apple pulled the plug on the 17” variant.

The large laptop market is being dominated by Microsoft due to its affordability and versatility with games.
