1. App Drawer arrangement
The default arrangement of apps is in alphabetical order. Tap on the menu and change the view to custom. There you can tweak the arrangement to your liking.

3. Hide S Voice
With Ok Google, there is no need for Samsung’s S Voice. Go to the S Voice’s settings and disable the option where it is able to wake up through the home button.
4. Single hand mode
The S5 is a large device for many users with small hands. Using just one hand is still possible by downsizing the screen. Go to setting> sounds & display> one-handed operation. Enable it and change the screen size to your liking.
5. High screen sensitivity.

9. Edit Quick Settings
The quick settings located at the top of the menu are really convenient. Change which settings you prefer to have as a shortcut by going to the home screen menu before choosing edit quick settings.
10. Screen Indicator Swipe
Instead of swiping limitlessly to the left or right, just to go to a page at the far corner, one can simply hit on the numbered page indicator at the bottom. It will cause a jump which is faster.
