If you found the Samsung Galaxy Note enticing and have the pocket real estate to accommodate for a mini-tablet/giant phone then listen up as LG has a surprise for you.
LG Optimus Vu to take on Samsung Galaxy Note
Called the LG Optimus Vu, it was originally expected to launch at MWC 2012. However LG has now gone ahead and officially announced the Optimus Vu. Here are its specs:
The LG Optimus Vu sports a 5-inch IPS display with 4:3 aspect ratio, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, LTE, 2080mAh battery, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and measures in at just 8.5mm thick.
So compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note, its most obvious difference would be that it is squarish thanks to its 4:3 aspect ratio. Given the mixed reactions to the Samsung Galaxy Note in the US, it will be interesting to see if this more squarish version of the Android phone has a better chance.
