T-Mobile has gone ahead and announced that it will be running a one-day promotion on Saturday February 11. Dubbed the Valentine’s Day sale, it will be giving all its smartphones away for free (on contract) and some of its tablets.
T-Mobile free phone sale
The deal should appeal to all T-Mobile users as the carrier has a wide selection of smartphones ranging from the popular Samsung Galaxy S2 Android to the likes of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Nokia Lumia 710. The tablets that will be available free on contract include the SpringBoard and there is also the Sonic 4G hotspot.
This deal requires a mail-in rebate hence new and upgrade-eligible customers will have to pay the standard price first. If you’re an existing customer and been so for less than 18 months, you will also need to pay the “standard migration fees” when switching from a Classic plan to a Value plan.
On a side note, Verizon Wireless is also running their own Valentine’s Day promotion and giving away the Motorola DROID RAZR in a BOGO deal while bringing back the double-data promo.
