Android 4.0.4 Hits Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Insanely Fast With New Features (List)

After the recent scare that the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus would be losing its Google “Nexus” privileges, has another update just popped up for the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich device.

The Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android 4.0.4 update has somehow leaked on to the Web and is now available for download unofficially. We’ve managed to give it a whirl and one thing we can confirm, the Galaxy Nexus is insanely fast after this update. We previously complained that it took the camera some time to launch from the lockscreen, well that is fixed now and even the radio signal strengths are better.

Now, user kangxi on XDA has compiled an unofficial list of features in Android 4.0.4 that weren’t present in 4.0.3. Here is what he/she has come up with so far (see below). And if you are interested in downloading the Android 4.0.4 update for your Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus then click here.
