Something big is coming to Canada this Valentine’s Day. We’re talking about the massive 5.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Note with its 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8-megapixel camera and generous 2,500 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy Note Canada release date: Valentine’s Day
Now we already know that the Samsung Galaxy Note was going to land in the US with AT&T branding later in February but no word came on its plans for the rest of North America. While Samsung wasn’t ready to come forward and announce the Canadian release of a Samsung Galaxy Note, Best Buy Canada was. Best Buy has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Note will be available on February 14 on Bell, Rogers and Telus. No word yet on price but earlier reports hint it will be $250 on contract.
We’ll keep you posted as more develops. On a side note, the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note in Canada just so happens to occur exactly 2 weeks before the Mobile World Congress 2012 event. Samsung is rumored to make a big bang at the event and possibly launch 3 new Galaxy devices at the show: Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6 and another mid-range Samsung Galaxy phone.
