We just finished reporting about the Samsung Galaxy Epic 2 which was making its way to MetroPCs when another Galaxy smartphone breaks cover.
Samsung Galaxy S3 rumors
While all eyes are on the Samsung Galaxy S3 to be officially launched at MWC 2012, the latest rumors suggest that Samsung is still weighing in on this and we may only see the flagship phone make an appearance sometime in April. However that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing a Galaxy phone on February 27 at the Mobile World Congress:
Samsung Galaxy S Advance to make appearance at MWC 2012
Codenamed GT-I9070, the Samsung Galaxy S Advance was spotted over in Philippines earlier this week. Featuring a 4-inch AMOLED screen, 1GHz dual-core chip, 5-megapixel rear camera, Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread, and a decent 1,500mAh battery, it resembles the Samsung Galaxy R in many ways. According to the folks over at IntoMobile, “more details are likely going to be announced at Mobile World Congress next month in Barcelona.”
Given that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has been out for some time now, loading the Galaxy S Advance with Android Gingerbread is certainly not going to help with marketing this device.
