Verizon Samsung Galaxy NexusSamsung is of course in a battle with Apple regarding the search function and they have been dumbing down their search app so that the phone does not search through apps or contacts. This is to ensure that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will not be banned.
Samsung have already taken this step with their AT&T and Sprint handsets of the S3 and Verizon are next.
At the moment there is no news of when the update will be released to those that already have the device but chances are that it will be very soon. The latest shipment of handsets may well already have the update to avoid being banned.
