There is no doubt that the must have phone of the moment is the Samsung Galaxy S3. However there have been leaks of the Motorola DROID RAZR HD and it looks like a superphone in the making. So should you hang back and see if the Motorola DROID RAZR HD really lives up to its rumors? Let’s take a look at the rumored specs of the Motorola DROID RAZR HD and how they stand against what we already know about the Samsung Galaxy S3.

The back of the Razr HD has been designed in Kevlar which adds rigidity and durability to the phone. The S3 on the other hand looks cheap and plastic-ky. Thanks to Kevlar, the Motorola DROID RAZR HD is the more impressive.
Accessories are another consideration and Motorola come out on top thanks to their media docks and car accessories. If you use your handset for Sat Nav then you have to take this into consideration. Even the lapdocks is another feature we hope Motorola keeps alive.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with a physical home button, but is it needed thanks to Android 4.0? the Razr HD instead makes use of the on screen keys of Android 4.0 which allows Android the chance to grow (Jelly Bean continues the trend of ditching soft keys for on-screen ones only).
When it comes to battery life the Samsung Galaxy S3 had a 2100mAh, which is needed to power the large display. The Razr HD has a smaller screen but a larger battery at 3300mAh and is known for its long lasting and awesome battery life.
TouchWiz or Blur is the next consideration. This is all down to choice but Blur on the Atrix HD does look awesome in the official videos as it not only keeps the blue overtones of ICS but also has more of the holo UI intact.
Finally there is the camera to look at and the Razr HD is said to have a 13 megapixel camera while the Samsung Galaxy S3 has an 8 megapixel camera.
Both of these handsets are great choices. If you can wait a couple more weeks, we expect Verizon to make some sort of announcement. You might be glad you did.
