Customers on AT&T are eagerly awaiting a new HTC handset that will have LTE and the quad core Tegra chip. However they might not be the only ones to be getting their hands on a new device. It seems that the HTC6435 is making its way to Verizon and it will come with impressive specs for hardware reports PocketNow.
Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 may soon face 1080p HTC phone
This HTC device has come to our attention in the same way that the Evitare UL has for AT&T, through benchmark tests. Droid-Life pointed out that what’s interesting is that benchmark tests revealed scores for the HTC6435 are somewhat higher than those we would expect from a handset with a Snapdragon S4 MSM8960. What this could indicate is that the model is really the MSM8960T, which is the upgrade to the Adreno 320 GPU.
Another interesting factor about the HTC6435 is the high resolution which is said to be 1794 x 1080, with this you could be thinking that the device may be a tablet. However the model number is in the range for smartphones. This of course is not iron clad and 1080p phones are soon to become a reality, so it could be that HTC will be offering one of the first.
With the Samsung Galaxy S3 being the best Android smartphone on Samsung Galaxy S3 and the HTC One X not being offered on the largest carrier in the US, this may be just what HTC has planned for Big Red all this while.
