HTC have revealed their latest handsets as being the One S, Desire V and Desire C and the models have already reached the shelves of local stores in the Philippines at this time.
HTC Desire series and One S boast features even Samsung Galaxy S3 can’t match
The One S follows on in the footsteps of the HTC One X and comes with the Snapdragon S4 Processor by Qualcomm. It has 1.7GHz dual core CPUs and comes packed into a 7.9 mm gradient metal unibody.
Most of the features that made the One X so popular have been put into the One S. These include a burst mode on the camera and Gorilla Glass on the display. There have also been many other features that have been improved.
The Ones S comes with a 4.3 inch screen, which of course is smaller, but it does have the AMOLED display in comparison to the 4.7 inch LCD that is seen in the One X. The camera has also been boosted to 8 megapixels and it comes with enhanced HDR and a smart flash. The battery life is also said to be better, lasting around 60% longer and the handset is slimmer and weighs less than the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Then there are the HTC Desire handsets which are said to be some of the most affordable of handsets in their new line-up of phones. The Desire V is the first phone from HTC to delve into the dual sim market, a feature which even the Samsung Galaxy S3 doesn’t boast. This handset is marketed as being the most affordable 4-inch phone and the touchscreen is said to be around 22-percent lighter than that of the iPhone.
The handset comes with support for GSM and WCDMA and is concealed in a metal brush finish which is available in either black or white. The handset comes with a 5 megapixel camera which has autofocus and smart flash.
The Desire C’s killer feature agains the S3 is that it is water resistant. It comes in red, black and white and has a camera of 5 megapixels.
All of the models come with Beats Audio technology and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed alongside HTC Sense 4. This also includes Dropbox, which is the popular online storage app and HTC are including 25 gig of space for users over two years.
While all three HTC phones possess features that the Samsung Galaxy S3 can’t boast, they are not a threat to the Samsung phone as in a whole they come nowhere close to the S3.
