Official HTC EVO 3D ICS update rolls out
The HTC EVO 3D ICS update is 300 MB and comes with the the new Sense user interface on top. No release notes have been offered so we believe that the update will come with the regular features of Android 4.0. Unlike LG there has been no mention of software to convert 2D to 3D and if it had this it would have been great. It would also have been nice to have seen a video editor on the handset.
The HTC EVO 3D is in competition with the likes of the Optimus 3D from LG. It comes with some decent specs including a 4.3 inch touchscreen display with a pixel resolution of 540×960. The panel is built with Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a Qualcomm 1.2 GHz MSM8660 mobile processor and has 1GB of RAM which supports the 3D. In addition the handset has a dual 5-megapixel camera which also records video in 3D.
The update is over-the-air so if you reside in the mentioned regions and are wondering why you don’t have the HTC EVO 3D ICS update yet, be patient and your device will receive the notification shortly.
