Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs DROID RAZR HD: Battle Of Mythical Proportions

Now that Samsung have the Galaxy S3 behind them they are getting ready to launch the next big flagship on their books for this year – the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. IBTimes reports that the first version of the device has sold more than 7 million units around the world and it is expected that the new version will top this and it will do battle with the DROID RAZR HD from Motorola, which is another upcoming flagship phone. IBTimes goes on to do a comparison of both devices based on what we know so far from rumors. Here are the results from IBT’s mythical battle:

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs Motorola DROID RAZR HD

The Samsung Note 2 will have a display of 5.3 inches that is “unbreakable” and which is thought to be the precursor to the flexible display. The handset should come with Android Jellybean installed and it is expected to be run by a quad core processor much like the Samsung Galaxy S3. The device will have a 12 megapixel camera and it is thought to have much longer battery life than the previous model.

On the other side, IBT statest that  Motorola are getting ready for the launch of their 4G LTE powerhouse handset, the DROID RAZR HD. The handset is thought to have a 3,300 mAh battery and a 12 megapixel rear camera with a 3 megapixel camera on the front. The screen will be 4.5 inches 720p HD with the resolution being 1196 x 720. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core S4 CPU like the US Samsung Galaxy S3 models and will have Android 4.0 and 1GB RAM.

With both devices having purported specs to rival the likes of the best on the market right now (Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One X), there will no doubt be a heated battle brewing later this year. The winner is anyone’s guess. Hit the source link for IB Times full take on both mythical Android smartphones.
