Verizon customers who are waiting for their shipment of the Samsung Galaxy S3 will have another day longer to wait before they can get their hands on the Android handset. According to DroidLife, Verizon had given the date of July 9th for when it would be shipped and as yet there is no explanation for the new July 10 date. If the delay was due to something major then surely it would be longer than a single day.
Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 release date pushed back another day
Providing that nothing else happens, customers can now look forward to the handset on the 10th, however it is thought that July 12th is actually the official release date reports DL.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the most pre-ordered and anticipated handsets in 2012. Some of the reasons the handset is so popular is the stunning 4.8 inch Super AMOLED screen that provides crystal clear sharp images and its powerful processor. It is also packed with features including S-Voice and Smart Stay which dims the screen when you are not looking at it. The handset also comes with an 8 megapixel camera that offers an LED flash and comes with zero shutter lag. The camera allows users to capture video in full 1080p too.
On a side note, there is no word from AT&T, Sprint or any other US carrier about a possible delay. Given the popularity of the Galaxy S3, issues with short supply would not be surprising. We will keep you posted as more develops.
