Despite the heavy use of glass, the iPhone 4S is sturdier than the Samsung Galaxy S3 in a drop test. The news comes following tests that were undertaken by SquareTrade, the warranty provider in which the S3 screen is seen to shatter on the first test.

There is no doubting that the Samsung Galaxy S3 is a speed monster but what about if you accidentally drop it? Check out the video posted below which shows the results as it puts up Samsung`s latest offering against the iPhone 4S from Apple in a series of drop tests.
In the first test, dropped from the ear to the ground, the screen of Galaxy S3 cracked badly while the iPhone 4S suffered damage to the sides with the screen intact. The video also showed what happens when kids get hold of phones and throw them about. The back of the iPhone 4S totally shattered while on Galaxy S3 damage was done to the corners and sides. In the car test, with the phones falling from the roof of the car the iPhone 4S suffered a little damage on the back while the Galaxy S3 front took a beating and totally shattered. Overall the iPhone 4S faired better than the Samsung Galaxy S3 in the series of tests. Well enough chatter, video is below.
