As this month draws to a close, the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be storming its way onto European markets, following the success of its hugely successful predecessor – the Samsung Galaxy S2. After its European launch, the Galaxy S3 will then be moving into international markets. Just in case you have missed the buzz surrounding the S3, here are a few of the more exciting characteristics: a 1.4GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM back-up, 16, 32 or 64GB of internal storage space (which can be increased using a microSD card) and an impressive 8 megapixel camera, amongst many more features.
Samsung Galaxy S2 joins S3, ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update preloaded in some regions
The Galaxy S2 will still remain hot property however, as in stores in India it sees a welcome addition in the form of the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. According to Ubergizmo, the Samsung Galaxy S2 in India has already begun shipping with Android Ice Cream Sandwich preloaded just like the Galaxy S3 will.
For those of you who are still unsure of the benefits of the Ice Cream Sandwich, or even who are unsure what exactly it is, Android have published the following: “It builds on the things people love most about Android — easy multitasking, rich notifications, customizable home screens, resizable widgets, and deep interactivity — and adds powerful new ways of communicating and sharing”.
This will save those short of time and technological awareness having to constantly actively search for the Ice Cream Sandwich using KIES or Over The Air. Having Ice Cream Sandwich already installed for you will be a sure fire way to ensure that interest in the Galaxy S2 will not wane in the wake of the Galaxy S3 launch.
