Brace Yourself, Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.0 Update Released

Just like that, Samsung has officially started the rollout of the Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The first users to receive it are those residing in Europe, with a global rollout expected to start later on only. Now it is important to note that this is for the international Samsung Galaxy Note and there is no information as to when the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note will get it.

Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update rolling out

The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Premium Suite update comes with the S Pen apps like S Note, Shape March and My story. Other goodies include more features you would expect for a tablet such as PDF and PowerPoint editor updates.

While TouchWiz has been criticized heavily, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich variant we saw on the Samsung Galaxy S2 wasn’t half bad at all. This in addition to the fact that there are still Samsung Nexus S users complaining that their devices have been acting strange ever since the stock Android 4.0 update arrived, and we’ve got a mixed bag of feelings as to what to expect.

Worst comes to worse, if the TouchWiz launcher doesn’t cut it after the update, you can always go with one of the many Android 4.0 compatible launchers like Nova and Apex. We’ll keep you posted as more develops.
