The Samsung Galaxy S3 will be making its official debut in just over 24 hours now. Arguably the most anticipated Android smartphone of 2012, we’ve been hearing rumors about it since late last year. And now as we approach the final few days, photo evidence continues to surface.
Samsung Galaxy S3 may be much larger than Galaxy Nexus, closer to Galaxy Note dimensions?
The latest comes way of a popular screen protector company in Korea called Colorant. The company has apparently already made screen protectors for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 and pictures of it have already flooded forums. As can been see, they are too large for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and even the HTC One X.
In fact, they seem to confirm the 4.8-inch display rumors we’ve been hearing about for the past few weeks. While that may only sound slightly larger than the 4.65-inch Samsung Galaxy Nexus, it is important to note that unlike the Galaxy Nexus, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to retain its physical home button key despite supposedly coming preloaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
What this means is much more bezel and overall larger dimensions. In fact, it would likely come in closer to the size of the Samsung Galaxy Note. Take a look at the picture below which also shows off the packaging that once again suggests the device will be called the Samsung Galaxy S III.
