It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S3 climbing Amazon Germany’s bestseller list already has other retailers feeling like their missing out on arguably the biggest Android smartphone launch of 2012.

Earlier yesterday, we reported that despite Samsung not confirming the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S3 yet, Amazon went ahead and posted the device up with a price tag of 599 euros. Surprisingly, orders began to come in and before you knew it, the Samsung Galaxy S3 beat the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Nexus as the best-selling smartphone on the website. Now Australian retailer MobiCity wants in on the action as well.
The online retailer has listed the Samsung Galaxy S3 with a whopping price tag of A$899. In addition to a price point, it has posted both pictures and specs. The pictures are the same bunch of leaked images we’ve seen circulating the web for the past few months. As for the specs, they are a mixed bag. MobiCity posts the Samsung Galaxy S3 with a 1.5GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 12-megapixel rear camera and 1GB RAM. As you can see, the Samsung Galaxy S3 specs listed appear to have been shortchanged in some areas when compared to what we’ve seen to date.
Whether this is inside information or just a stab in the dark, the bottom line is that the Samsung Galaxy S3 is going to be awesome. Here’s hoping that we don’t have to wait too much longer and keep bumping into such teases like this.
