It is finally official folks. After months of speculation, the Verizon HTC DROID Incredible 4G has launched on Verizon’s DroidDoes website. In it we get a glimpse of the 4G LTE smartphone, its confirmed specs and even a price tag.
Verizon HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE specs now official
The site reconfirms that the Verizon HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE will come with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4-inch Super LCD qHD display, 8-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 1700mAh battery, and 8GB internal storage which is expandable to 32GB. It will come preloaded with Sense 4.0 on top of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Now at first glance these specs don’t seem all that fantastic. In fact, it would be comparable to many other Android smartphone that were announced in the past 6 or so months. We’re talking about the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S2, Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX and Samsung Galaxy Note. If you’re wondering why we’re bringing this up, it is because Verizon appears to have priced the DROID Incredible 4G LTE at $299.99 with a two-year contract. This price point is normally reserved for top-tier LTE devices which the DROID Incredible 4G LTE obviously is not.
With its specs, we would consider it more of a mid-range Android which should sit at $199.99 in all fairness. After all, even the HTC EVO 4G LTE which is on Sprint will set you back $200 only.
What do you think of the $200 price tag for the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE? Sound off in the comments below.
