Verizon Wireless is continuing on its streak with releasing more 4G LTE smartphones. However what they also have kept doing is putting a $299.99 price tag on any new LTE smartphone.
Verizon HTC DROID Incredible 4G price tag set at $300
This time around it is the Verizon HTC DROID Incredible 4G, the successor to the HTC DROID Incredible 2 which launched last year. Now the thing here is that unlike past LTE smartphones, the DROID Incredible 4G LTE features an integrated 4G LTE radio which requires lesser components i.e. cheaper pricing.
Furthermore, while it does have a decent set of specs, it is nowhere near the likes of the HTC One X which by the way is also 4G LTE capable and is priced at $199.99 with a two year contract.
The HTC DROID Incredible 4G price popped up alongside its specs on the official Verizon DROID DOES website. Big Red confirmed the 4.0-inch qHD touchscreen display, 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, front-facing camera, Android 4.0 ICS, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and Beats Audio integration.
With Memorial Day coming next month and Verizon running sales on their smartphones without fail every year at this time, here’s hoping the HTC DROID Incredible 4G gets included.
