Samsung recently announced that the Galaxy Note was a sales success, with the manufacturer selling 5 million units in just 5 months. So it goes without saying that there will be a sequel to it i.e. the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 concept
Now concept artist Bob Freking has come up with a rendering of what he envisions the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be like. Design wise it looks almost identical to the current Note except that it has a slimmer bezel which could equate to easier one-handed operation. The specs are quite modest too as they are based on Samsung Galaxy S3 rumors. As we’ve seen with the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Galaxy Note, both devices have almost identical hardware. So the same may hold true here.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 concept boasts a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED II HD display, 2GHz Samsung Exynos 5 dual-core processor, an 8mm thin body, 2GB RAM, 12-megapixel rear camera, 32GB storage, and 64GB expandable via microSD card. To top it off, it runs Android 5.0 Jellybean which while we doubt the Samsung Galaxy S3 will come preloaded with it, it makes sense for the Galaxy Note 2 if rumors hold true that Google will be firing the update out this summer.
Anyone else waiting for a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or are you smitten by the Samsung Galaxy S3 already?
