No Other Phone Like The Samsung Galaxy Note? Think Again

The Samsung Galaxy Note is currently the reigning phone/tablet hybrid on the market. While there’s word that the Samsung Galaxy S3, iPhone 5, Motorola DROID Fighter and HTC One X are all set to debut very soon, none of them can boast the unique features of the Galaxy Note – advanced capacitive pen support and an extra large display.

So it comes as no surprise that there are manufacturers out there working on knock-offs of the hot selling Samsung Galaxy Note. The folks over at MicGadget for one have gotten their hands on one (pictured below) and it appears to be a doppleganger for the Galaxy Note, albeit with some disadvantages.

On the good side, it come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich without TouchWiz unlike the Samsung Galaxy Note which looks like its stuck on Gingerbread for at least a couple more months.

Disappointing however is that its screen is a slightly smaller 5-inches and the resolution is 800×480. Under the hood, we find a 1GHz single core processor and 5-megapixel rear camera. It costs around 2,500 yuan which roughly equates to $400.
