While many folks thought that the $30 unlimited data plan offered by Verizon Wireless has since been axed and only those who were grandfathered into it can take advantage, you will be gladly mistaken.
$30 Verizon unlimited data plan available for prepaid phones
According to the folks over at TechNewsDaily, Verizon is in fact still offering the $30 unlimited data plan but with a catch – it is only for prepaid phones.
So this eliminates popular choices like the Verizon iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Motorola DROID RAZR. Instead you have to pick from 5 prepaid options (the Motorola Droid 3 is surprisingly included).
On a side note, it still does beat the AT&T prepaid plans (GoPhone) which will only give you 500MB for $25. Once you reach that limit, you will be be kicked off.
