Now that we’ve seen the New iPad 3, Canon EOS 5D Mark III and glimpses of Windows 8, the list of most anticipated gadgets of 2012 is beginning to shorten. If you read our piece from back in November about the most anticipated gadgets of 2012, you will now notice that there are 3 more showstoppers to be revealed – the Microsoft Xbox 720, Samsung Galaxy S3 and Apple’s iPhone 5 from our list.
Rumor mill: Xbox 720, iPhone 5 & Samsung Galaxy S3
Xbox 720: Given that the Xbox 360 is now over 6 years old, its predecessor the Xbox 720 is expected to be leaps and bounds ahead of whatever we’ve seen today, so it can boast a similar lifespan.
Apple iPhone 5: Whether it is scheduled for the usual summer release or a late fall release like the iPhone 4S, one thing that is certain is that the iPhone 5 will launch in 2012. Another thing that can be practically confirmed is that it will support LTE just like the recently announced new iPad 3.
Samsung Galaxy S3: Without a doubt the most anticipated Android device of 2012, the Samsung Galaxy S3 may only be weeks away from being announced. Rumors suggest that it will boast a 4.6-inch display, 12-megapixel camera, quad-core processor and a whopping 2GB RAM.
