While the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been available via Verizon Wireless for some time now, its accessories are now only arriving. The latest to come in is the i515 Pogo Desktop Dock.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus Pogo Desktop Dock
Priced at a steep $90, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus Pogo Desktop Dock features spring-loaded pogo pins which allow you to just drop in your Galaxy Nexus to charge sans any wires. In addition to its easy charging capabilities, it also boasts and audio-out jack which allows you to hook the desktop dock up to a large speaker system in case you wish to listen to some tunes while your Samsung Galaxy Nexus is charging.
Here’s hoping the price drops down to a more reasonable level real soon. Check out the official description below:
“The Samsung Galaxy Nexus i515 Pogo Pin Desktop Dock allows you to charge your Galaxy Nexus handset quickly through the pogo pin receivers located on the side of the handset. Drop your handset into the charger without fumbling around with cords or small charging ports. The pogo pins increase the longevity of your device as well as you’ll refrain from placing stress on the phone connector every time you plug in to charge. Ideal for the home or workplace, the pogo pin desktop dock allows you to carry on with daily activities while keeping the power of the Galaxy Nexus™ nearby. Even while the handset charges, you can watch videos, listen to music via the built-in 3.5 mm stereo audio port, or run applications in landscape mode.”
