While the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is currently available through Verizon Wireless only, this exclusivity is set to end. With Sprint already confirming at CES 2012 that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus with its LTE goodness will be headed to its network, we can expect other carriers to get the same opportunity as well i.e. T-Mobile and AT&T.
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Nexus in the cards?
According to a new document dug up by CellPhoneSignal, a Samsung SGH-T999 device with a display resolution of 1,280 x 720 resolution will be hitting T-Mobile in the near future. With its name starting with T and ending in 9 that are apparently “made for T-Mobile” signs, and that sort of screen specs, we could be looking at the T-Mobile variant of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
The original Google Nexus One made its debut on T-Mobile back in early 2010 followed by the Google Nexus S later on. So it comes as no surprise if the 3rd generation Google Nexus phone makes its way to the pink carrier eventually.
We’ll keep you posted as more develops.
