Eric Bana, star and director of “Love the Beast” – in which he documented the loss of his XB GT Falcon – announced that he will compete in the Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour Showroom Enduro, next month. He competed in this event last year too, and he finished 10th overall and 6th in his class.
His team will be joined by the same drivers as last year: Tim Leahey and Peter Hill, and also will drive the same car, the Mitsubishi Evolution X.
Teammate Tim Leahey said: “At the end of the day we are better prepared than we were this time last year. Pete and Eric are a lot more advanced than they were last year and we are definitely in with a chance to win. Racing is relaxing for me now and doing it with Pete and Eric is great as we are close mates and it also gives us a chance to hang out. “
