Pokemon has been a very popular franchise and the latest addition to the series is Pokemon X & Y, which arrived last year. The game made its way out onto the Nintendo 3DS and the community ran amok with people talking about how good it was.
All the Pokemon games in the past have had twin titles, which has then been followed up with a third and this time will be the same. We saw this happen with Pokemon Crystal, Emerald and then Platinium. This time we have Pokemon X & Y with the follow up rumored to be Pokemon Z.
There has been a great deal of debate about Pokemon Z and speculations that it will take place in the same area. When Pokemon X & Y arrived the game had some features that were missing and these are now hoped to be included in Pokemon Z.
Features that are hoped for by fans and as such storming the rumor mill for Pokemon Z include:
1. More Mega evolution.
2. Move tutors.
3. Able to adjust difficulty settings before every game.
4. A reason to level up every Pokemon to 100.
5. The shopping plaza seen in Pokemon Black 2 & White 2.
6. The return of VS Seeker tool.
7. More stories on legendary Pokemon and a whole new innovated way of catching them.
8. The addition of Pokemon Contest like how it was in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.
9. Post-game storyline that will justify the need to complete the Pokedex as well as breeding Pokemon.
There was talk going around that these features could be brought together in a large DLC for Pokemon X & Y, however this isnt something that we can see happening. It is more likely that the features will make an appearance in Pokemon Z when it does finally come about.
