Minecraft players operating on the PS3 are in for some great news. A fix is being rolled out which will see an end to the bug that has been corrupting the player’s saved file.
Sony has been handling the 1.03 update’s distribution and it looks like all good news for the PS3’s miners. The update is currently made available to Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Players from North America are queued to receive the update.
Ever since the PS3’s Minecraft release back in December last year, the bug has been causing a lot of frustrations to the players. What was supposed to be the game for the holiday period got kept on the shelves instead as players wait on for this much needed 1.03 patch update.
North American Minecraft’s population don’t have to worry. It might hurt to see others already enjoying the update but it won’t be long until the fix reaches the American shores.
Other fixes includes a fix that causes the game to freeze randomly, server problems where players unable to join in a game, split screen crash when running the game in Russian and many other minor issues.
