When it comes to games, there is no denying that the Half Life series is among the best. The franchise boasts a huge fan base which has been hopeful to see a Half Life 3 since a decade ago. As the wait prolongs, cracks are beginning to appear within the Half Life community.
Valve co-founder, Gabe Newell, saw this and immediately stole the limelight by talking about Half Life 3. According to DigitalJournal, Newell confessed that the much anticipated third sequel is not in the makings at the moment.
The co-founder felt that Valve is not just about the Half Life franchise. The company wishes to create a lot of other games rather than focusing on something that is done and dealt with.
In spite of that, Half Life 3 is still a possibility. Newell plans to follow what the customers have been demanding. If this is true, then we can see Half Life 3 coming late next year.
If there is one title that could rival the likes of Call of Duty and Halo, it is definitely Half Life.
