Rockstar are on to a good thing with the GTA franchise and they know it. While GTA 5 has been a success, gamers are now looking ahead to what might arrive with GTA 6.
Since gamers got their hands on the first ever GTA the setting for the game has never ventured outside of the USA. Rockstar do like to poke fun at the pop culture in the US and this is the reason why.
However gamers are now wondering if GTA 6 should have a location outside of the US and venture further afield, but where could that new location be?
GTA 6 shouldn’t be set somewhere like Asia as this would make it too much like Sleeping Dogs. Perhaps GTA 6 could have a setting in Europe, but then not every city in Europe could play host to the game.
Central Europe for instance would be too cultural. The best European city would be London. True guns are not allowed on the streets of London, but there is plenty of organised crime going on there.
When GTA 5 came out it arrived with a huge map. GTA 6 will be heading to the next gen consoles no doubt and therefore it should have an even larger map. Perhaps London wouldn’t be such the ideal place when you take this into account. However Rockstar could spread it out and include Paris.
Gamers have said that Rockstar will not do this. With the arrival of GTA 4 the game headed back to New York and in GTA 5 it was a return to San Andreas. Perhaps GTA 6 will make its way back to Vice City. Gamers could perhaps even look forward to Orlando being in the map.
There is one thing that we do know for sure, even if we don’t know where the setting will be, that is that GTA 6 will be mind-blowing on the next gen consoles so gamers can look forward to a superb game.
