GTA Online is balanced again! It has been about a month since hackers invaded GTA 5’s multiplayer mode which sees an economic meltdown. Over the past couple of weeks, Rockstar was hard at work in banning the culprits. Over the weekends, GTA Online finally saw the game financial aspects restored to its rightful state.
Rockstar has already forewarned the GTA population on its plans to clean up the mess the hackers made. The game developer hinted on a single update which will automatically take out the necessary amount from the player’s bank account. After a couple of scares with the 1.09 update, it finally happened over the weekend.
However, players have gathered at Reddit complaining to the game developer for taking out their legit amount of cash too. It appears that the hacked millions and billions of GTA dollars, together with some extra legit money has been confiscated by Rockstar.
While there has yet to be any official response on this matter, it seems that the update take into account purchases made with the hacked money.
In reality, players have no right to complain about this. The money deduction might discard the hacked amount and the spent amount with illegal dollars. However, if calculated accurately, players have been spending more than they should. By right, the players should be thankful for not losing all of their wealth.
Redditor Gawdar confirmed this with his response on the forum. Even Redditor Kobson_Cadet revealed that he has been spending billions and yet don’t see that same amount deducted on his account.
All in all, GTA Online’s community might have some rotten fruits that should be grateful instead of being fussy. Aside from that, GTA 5’s multiplayer mode is completing its restoration and should be back to its best in no time. The players can’t wait as that means DLCs will look to arrive soon.
