GTA 5 boasts a humungous map known as Los Santos. Like any other GTA games, the map is fixed in a square grid. Despite having such a huge map, there are many players who simply attempts to get to the far edge of it.
Many of our readers who have tried to do so faced an inescapable death sentence. Some of them even reported on their jets losing its left wing the moment they reach the edge.
This appears to be the first of its kind. The players who’ve made those claims loves to fly a jet in GTA 5 and claims that such a thing never happened before. This strongly hints on a glitch taking place since the recent 1.08 patch update.
The first sign is seeing the jet losing its power, coming to a complete stall. In a matter of seconds, the left wing got cut off from the body, thus sending the airborne vehicle plunging down straight into the ocean.
It is not over. The players actually tried to survive this horror by ejecting themselves from the plane while the sail down with their parachute. It didn’t last for long as GTA 5’s mechanism punishes the player by destroying the chute as well.
Many of our readers claimed they’ve survived the scare thanks to the soft landing offered by the deep blue ocean. That is when the end arrives. GTA 5 will then take out the characters once and for all, sending it to the nearest hospital.
