Following the series of hacks to GTA 5’s multiplayer mode, game developer Rockstar has retaliated and forced the culprits into a cheater’s lobby. It is not just the bad guys that got caught; random players too got apprehended since they have a huge wealth amounting up to billions of GTA Dollars.
With the enforcement in place, what could be the next move from Rockstar? Rumour has it that the game developer is looking to create a sandbox version of GTA Online where money means nothing in the game. In addition to that, everything will be made available for free.
The sandbox Los Santos will be the appropriate roof for those in the cheater’s lobby. Not only is money powerless, the culprits can simply enter the game and start a rampage at random moments. This will reduce the number of money hacks being used in the existing GTA Online. On top of that, it will also greatly reduce the amount of players being thrown into the cheater’s lobby.
Some fans are exited for the sandbox to be released. It will offer a different platform as players who just want that little fun in a chaotic mess which is Los Santos.
However, this is still a rumour so take it with a pinch of salt. There has yet to be any official announcement from Rockstar regarding its development.
