GTA 5 1.1 Update: Are Aliens On The Agenda

The 1.08 patch was recently launched for GTA 5 and it came with a beach DLC which offered gamers more clothing, weapons, beach vehicles and more. While this was great and it was free, gamers still want more as they think that GTA 5 is becoming a bit on the boring side.

It seems that Rockstar may have listened to what fans want and the 1.09 update should be superb when it arrives. But what might Rockstar be offering? Rockstar did say that gamers can expect new heists in the game.

Heists are in GTA 5 at the moment but right now they are in the single player game only. Gamers have said that the missions need to be more realistic. They believe that a feature should be in the game that would add more realism. This would force gamers to have to think on their feet. The support forum over at Rockstar is filled with suggestions and it seems that Rockstar are responding very positively.

It has been said that a Casino DLC could come to GTA Online, this would allow people to make money or in some cases lose some money. There could also be some mini games, such as poker or blackjack. Rockstar did something along these lines with Red Dead Redemption. There has even been leaked files which could suggest that a casino DLC could come out.

Perhaps one of the weirdest suggestions to come out was an alien invasion. How would it feel if you had been out robbing a bank and then out of nowhere as you are on your way home, aliens appear and try to abduct you? Bear in mind that Trevor did have a close encounter in a mission. Rockstar did say that they had had to leave out many ideas and that they would bring these into future DLCs in GTA 5.

All of the above could be do-able by Rockstar and so they could pick and choose what they want to do. It does seem as though Rockstar is listening to fans on the forums and over at Reddit. It has been said that the 1.09 update will make its way out soon.

In an update the 1.09 update did arrive but it didn’t come with much at all, which left fans unhappy. It also doesn’t seem to take back any money, which was thought to be one of the reasons for the update. Here’s hoping the 1.1 update is more enticing.
