Any rumours, news and speculations regarding Fallout 4 won’t be well entertained by the fans any longer. The website that has been teasing the entire Fallout community appears to be a hoax rather than truth.
AssociatedNews revealed that the idea of seeing a fourth sequel to the Fallout franchise in 2014 is wrong. The website provided a piece of evidence in the shape of a Christmas card from game developer Bethesda.
The card reveals all the games that are coming in 2014 and there is no sign of Fallout 4 on it. There is a robotic dog figure on the card which hints on Wolfenstein: The New Order, a vault-looking gift box representing The Evil within and a golden dragon figure suggesting The Elder Scrolls Online.
Surprisingly, all three titles are coming for a release this year and it is disappointing to learn that Fallout 4 is left out of the picture.
Even Bethesda killed the hype with a Tweet that warns players against believing a hoax. The game developer added that players should only believe an official announcement instead of the many hoaxes out there.
When it comes to teasing the fans, Bethesda told its fans that teasers on one of its title will only come through the game developer’s channel.
Fans are not at all happy with the game developer for warning them late after being fooled. Bethesda simply responded that they will enlighten the fans only when a rumour or speculation got taken seriously.
Despite all that, fans are still hoping for a Fallout 4 title in the future.
