Activision revealed Call of Duty Ghost not long back and this was the latest addition to the Call of Duty franchise and came out on the next gen consoles along with current gen. The game was received very well by gamers, but it seems that the focus of Activision has now turned to the next game in the series of Call of Duty.
The Call of Duty franchise does happen to be among the most popular of the franchises and gamers say that it is the best first person shooter. This means that it brings in loads of cash for Activision and there is nothing to stop the franchise. If you take a look back at the release of the series it leads gamers to predicting when they may expect a third title in the Black Ops series to arrive.
Activision and Sledgehammer are in collaboration, the latter is better known for being behind Modern Warfare 3. With this in mind fans believe that there is a big chance there could be a fourth sequel in the MW franchise.
While Call of Duty games have been popular with gamers they do seem to have been losing quality. For instance when Call of Duty Ghosts arrived the game didn’t utilize the full capabilities of the next gen consoles. Fans now want Activision to focus on getting the most from the next gen consoles.
It is thought that there will be a sequel to the Ghost series. Ghosts 2 could come out at some point during Q4 of this year. Along with this other games that gamers cannot wait to see in 2014 include Destiny, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, Skylanders, World of Warcraft and Heartstone.
