Toyota Doesn’t Want To Get Dragged Down With Tesla

The problem appears to be with Toyota that doesn’t see the future in electric vehicles any longer. Instead, the Japanese company felt that hydrogen fuel cell is the way to go.

This is in light of the many problems Toyota faced with electric vehicles. The company’s RAV4 battery engine performed poorly in the market. On the other hand, hydrogen vehicles are flourishing well in the market.

Despite that fact, hydrogen cells are very new and not as established as batteries. If every car manufacturer is to agree on a single energy source, then that should be the way to go. This explains why Toyota changed its direction to hydrogen.

It is unsure if there is fallout between Toyota and Tesla but the positive thing is that progress was made. Perhaps, hydrogen stations will be as much as petrol stations in the decades to come.
