Spy shots were launched that showed off the Hyundai i20 Active and after that we got to see official sketches of the vehicle.
The sketches showed us that the vehicle had the same off road style as it always had and the design seems to be more on the aggressive side. It has a six point grille, round fog lights, reflectors on the back, projector headlights and front skid plates designed in silver. The vehicle also offered roof rails and this did it a 4×4 look along with the black plastic body cladding.
The vehicle offers the engine from the Elite i20 and this made its way to India, so the Hyundai i20 Active engine is going to be the 1.2 litre. It should have 5 speed manual gearing and there could be a 1.4 litre US turbodiesel and this will have 6 speed manual. At the same time we are expecting the suspension of the vehicle to get made over.
