The Tesla Model S has been around for a long while now and there are about 75,000 units running all across the globe. It might not be much when compared to other vehicles but the 75,000 strong has achieved more than the petrol-head cars.
According to Tesla, all 75,000 cars have covered more than 1 billion miles combined. The Tesla Model S owners have been sharing their mileage and on average, each car has covered 13,500 miles. This is equivalent to 10 years of pumping gas, 2,000 year roadtrip, 4,816 trips to the moon and 570,000 tons of CO2 prevented.
For a car that has been around for a couple of years already, the Tesla Model S has definitely left a huge impact in our world. Could Tesla be using this statistics to start on the EV era?
