The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been on the market for less than a month and now word is that there is a variant that will launch before the month is up. Given that we are in the final days of October, if these rumors prove true then we could see the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 “Flex” next week.
Chosun reports that a Samsung rep has confirmed with them it plans to release the Samsung Galaxy Note 3+ in limited quantities next week. The major difference with the large smartphone would be its flexible display.
Now we’ve seen flexible screens by way of the LG G Flex and Samsung Galaxy Round but apparently the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 variant will take things further. Just how much further can flexible displays go? If what we saw at CES earlier this year is anything to go by then there is definitely room for improvement.
Ever since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, we’ve seen a slump in sales of the S4. The multiple S4 variants out there have taken a toll on the original S4 as well so it will be interesting to see what a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 “Flex” will do to the existing Samsung Android lineup.
