PS4 vs Xbox One: Picking The Right Console

Last November, the gaming industry stepped into a new era after Microsoft and Sony launched the Xbox One and PS4 respectively. Describes as the next-gen consoles, these machines are built to offer the ultimate gaming experience in the years to come.

For the gamers, it is always a dilemma when having to pick one of the two consoles. Both the Xbox One and PS4 share the same price tag of £329 today but to understand which is better, we have to go back to when the gaming machines were first released.

Back then, the Xbox One came with a price tag that is more expansive than the PS4. This is due to Microsoft, which is forcing the Kinect system on the players. The PS4, on the other hand, does not come with the Move console.

The bloated price tag then saw the Xbox One playing catch-up as the PS4 managed to bag 50% more sales than its rival. This has forced Microsoft to review the pricing of its console.

Today, both gaming machines come with the same price tag but which has more to offer? At the moment, the Xbox One is being bundled with FIFA 15, even when it cost £329. Obviously, this is the better purchase than the PS4.

On the other hand, the latter offers native 1080p resolution, which is something not offered by the Xbox One. At least, this is the case until game developers discovered a way to fully utilize Microsoft’s complex gaming system.

Both consoles have their own sets of pros and cons which leave the deciding factor to the games. Microsoft business influence is just something that cannot be ignored as they manage to get exclusivity with many AAA titles.

This is more than enough to convince gamers to purchase they Xbox One at this period of time. Of course, it is still best to wait until Christmas since more will be offered then.
