McLaren 570S GT: The Heavy-Camouflaged Prototype

McLaren really knows how to surprise fans: they’re planning to have an additional design for its new Sports Series. A prototype of a newer version of the 570S coupe, the 570S GT, is on heavy camouflage and will be expected to arrive in showrooms in the second quarter of the 2016.

The Sports Series was initially introduced in coupe form this year, but will soon be followed by versions of the convertible in 2017. Since it’s still in heavy camouflage, we can’t really see for sure the exact details of the sports car. However, it has been confirmed that the 570S GT will still use the same mid-engine layout and carbon monocoque chassis as McLaren’s other cars. In addition, the sporty McLaren will also have the possibility of being a more extreme speedster, sources said.

From what we can see through the picture, it seems that the modified roofline of the GT would be incorporating a larger luggage compartment, enhancing the possibility of driving the car on a daily basis. Now the question is, would you rather prefer the GT version or the convertible one, or the 570S coupe?
