Massive Hyundai Tucson Recall Announced

The latest to experience this are drivers of the Hyundai Tucson. The South Korean car manufacturer has put up a recall notice for 140,000 of its SUV from 2011 to 2014 in the US and Puerto Rico. This is due to an issue with the air bags which failed to function.

Air bags are an important safety feature found on most vehicles out there. It functions to soften the impact of a major accident. Without it, there is a higher chance of injury or even death.

An official document revealed that the affected Tucson might have 2 bolt of screws not tightened to satisfaction. This can cause the airbag to malfunction when at times of need. Tucson drivers also claimed that the airbag light stayed illuminated, even after seeing it fixed several times.

All in all, Tucson drivers are advised to go through with the servicing at any Hyundai dealer for zero fees. It has been a horrible 2014 for Hyundai as the company recalled the latest Santa Fe due to tire problems very recently.
