Lotus Exige S Club Racer Confirms That Carmaker Is Suffering From Anorexic

Anorexic Nervosa is a well-known eating disorder which affected many human beings and this led to them being extremely light and skinny to the point of being skeletal. Now, cars too are catching this disease and Lotus is the one most badly hit by it.

This is evident after Lotus launched the all-new Exige S Club Racer over at the UK and it saw more weight being eliminated from the already lightweight Exige S. In total 33lbs was cut and it sees the Exige S Club Racer weighing under 2600lbs.

Lotus achieved this ultimate lightness through making changes to the battery, centre console, doors and seats. However, in the automotive industry, lightweight means good.

With the Exige S Club Racer being as light as a feather, it is now able to complete a 0-62mph sprint at only 4 seconds flat. There is also a top speed of 170mph developed by the old 3.5L V6 engine. Clearly, the Exige S Club Racer is a runner.
