It seems that Jaguar is going all-out with the upcoming F-Type as the carmaker plans to expand the line further through introducing a sports variant of the vehicle.
This was unofficially confirmed after a spy shot of a mysterious looking vehicle got leaked on the internet. If you are to check out the image, then you will see a two-door convertible coupe that has the design cues taken from the original F-Type.
Details on this are still scarce at the moment and it is also pending for confirmation by Jaguar. However, if it is truly indeed the F-Type performance model, then it will surely get produced by Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations division.
The performance branch of the company was famous for developing the Range Rover Sport SVR and it hints that the mysterious F-Type roadster to be an F-Type SVR. Of course, we can expect more spills on this by Jaguar possibly at the New York Auto Show next week.
